| BOSS has used it's COSM technology to recreate the sound of different amps in several
products like recording studios (the BR series) and guitar effect
processors but with The FBM-1 Fender '59 Bassman and FDR-1 Fender '65
Deluxe Reverb Amp the company used the same technology to create
the sound of two legendary Fender amplifiers (Bassman and Deluxe
Reverb Amp) in two compact pedals. BOSS even tried to recreate the
look, colours, fonts and settings of those amps making especially the
FMB-1 stand out from the rest of the stompbox line in having a brown
rubber pad on the pedal switch. This feature was unique until 2009 when
the FRV-1 '63 Fender Reverb was added to the line. This pedal was also
equipped with a brown rubber pad although in another shade. |
